Personal project I hope to make and release. G.A.M.A. stands for; Gods and Monsters Arena. It will be a turn based game on a hexagonal grid with a solo campaign.

Old gods and their avatars team up with crypids, legends and monsters from Folklore to battle to be the most powerful survivors of the arena. Each faction has  unique tactics and stragities to fulfill  win conditions. The factions can evolve and change win conditions mid battle to give each battle a unique roguelike feel.

All characters are made in Illustrator and layed to be rigged in Unity 3D with full 2D articulation.

Elemental Silver V-Tuber for Twitch 2020

Twitch streamer; Elemental Silver commissioned me to create his design for his V-Tuber character of the same name.  Design made in Illustrator based on drawings provided, Built in Maya and .VRM was made through unity3D with a custom package. Callibrated in Vtube Editor and VTube maker, unfortunatley these programs weren't compatable with the users set up and the live model wasn't callibrated for facial expressions and face tracking correctly.

This is the Tec Art test I did for my job at Oysterworld in 2014. I reduced the polygons of an old character, Rigged it in Maya and added controls in unity with scripts and Mecanim. I also created several particle systems for the test.

DoomJester
Doom Jester, Form Wars

For My 3rd year major project I directed a game called "Form Wars" as well as designing, programming and rigging characters for it, I found time to build a character on it too. The "Jester" character is the King Unit for the Decay faction. In "Form Wars" He Summons other Decay units to the board. If he is defeated the decay faction loses. I wanted to create something with a bit of character and not run head first at an obvious "Grim Reaper" iconic figure but I needed a design that also made a sensible association to the Decay Faction. A jester was sometimes depicted on Tarot cards as Death, apparently the explanation for this was that "life is a joke". Above is some in game footage (Unity) of the Finished textured model with a rim light shader I customized. (Animation by Nichlos Millander)

Left: Is a turnaround of a detailed zBrush sculpt of the character. I then decimated the mesh using zBrush decimation master which reduces the poly count so the tool can be exported to Maya.

 

In Maya I projected the Detailed mesh on to the low poly mesh to create a normal map.

 

Panda
Panda, Jack vs Ninjas

The Panda was designed as an end of Level boss for "Jack vs Ninjas" which is a free to play iPhone, iOS game. Jack vs Ninjas is available on iTunes. I Built the Low poly character in 3D Studio Max and created detailed version in zBrush, then projected the high poly version on to the low poly model in Maya.

Part of my first year, final year project was to design a character and build it in 3D studio Max. I designed a female archer with armour down one side of her body. The brief for the project was to design a character and an environment. The second part of this project is the Pagoda on the Environment page.
